This collaboration between Lydia Smith and E P O K woman began with a conversation around the iconisation of the female form throughout history and into the future.
Using Smith's unique Scanning and Sculpture method, they worked with a life model to build the form.
Smith then digitally manipulated the technological representation using references from antiquity resulting in the creation of their NFT- Future Antiquity.
The Digital is the Origin of the IRL (in real life) Sculpture.
Smith used modern and traditional technologies to translate the digital into the physical world, creating the sculpture you see - Future Antiquity.
The Future Antiquity piece contains the assets of the Digital and the IRL Sculpture.
