Phoebe Wingrove

When life gets in the way, with anxiety spikes, breakups, sickness, and running out of time, Phoebe shares how her family worked together to support the installation of her exhibition and how she used her instinct to curate her exhibition on vaginismus.

She deep dive into the ‘taboo’ topic of Human papillomavirus (HPV) and how she felt in the dark about her health.

Since her exhibition ‘In the Dark: Vaginismus, ’ Phoebe has been featured by the BBC and has gone on to develop the project with her most recent show, ‘In the Dark: Birth.’ She is making waves within the women's health and Artspace communities!

Phoebes’ Bio

At the forefront of my practice is making genuine connections with people, to create authentic work that shares experiences, ones that we’ve always felt affect only us, but really we’re just one of many tackling the same problems.

My work uses collaboration to fuel my concepts and ignite the courage in the people I work with; captivating audiences by giving them the opportunity to think and make their own meaning.
