Sculpt a Plaster Cast workshop
Sculpt pieces of Michelangelo's David!
On this course, you will be introduced and acquire the foundations of sculpting through developing your artistic observational skills and gaining knowledge of sculpture structure and anatomy. You will create your sculptures out of wet clay.
Portrait sculpting workshop

This course will introduce you to the foundations of sculpting a life size portrait. We shall be developing your artistic observational skills and gaining knowledge of sculpture structure and anatomy. You will also observe how to correctly take measurements from a model as well as becoming accustomed to working from life. Sculptures will be created out of water-based clay.
The sculpture course will run over three days*. Sculpting starts at 10 am and finishes at 4 pm. Please arrive at 9.30am for light refreshments and introductions. We will break for an hour at 12.30 pm for lunch. You have the opportunity to photograph your work at the end of the course and have a short informal critique.
You will become familiar with the human head anatomy and be taught how to set up a strong structure before adding details and features.
All tools, Cups of tea and coffee will be provided… you just need to bring an apron!
